Veterans Benefits

ҹɫ¸£Àû administers various types ofÌýveterans educational benefitsÌýto veterans and their dependents pursuing degree programs at UT. ҹɫ¸£Àûalso has a VA-certifying official on-site.

Transfer Credit

ҹɫ¸£Àûhas aÌýgenerous transfer credit policyÌýfor military students, including credit for prior military service, and correspondence and online courses. ҹɫ¸£Àûaccepts transfer credits from institutions such as the American Military University and Central Texas College.

ROTC

ҹɫ¸£ÀûhasÌýROTC programsÌýfor the Navy, Air Force and Army — one of the strongest in the nation. In fact, ҹɫ¸£Àûis the only non-military college with multiple Army ROTC Raytheon Award winners.

Veteran students are encouraged to meet with a professional in theÌýOffice of Career ServicesÌýto discuss how their unique experiences can best be translated in the choice of an academic major and/or career path.
