Career Specialties

Bennett Holmes began his career in Campus Recreation as an undergraduate student at Vanguard University. This experience led Holmes to pursue a graduate assistantship at Central Michigan University while working towards his Master of Arts in Sport Administration. Holmes' passion for recreational sports and intramurals brought him to the University of Tampa where he upheld the role of coordinator of competitive sports for two years. Holmes currently holds the role of assistant director of facilities and operations, where he continues to champion student development for their life after college and student wellness.

Professional and Community Activities

Holmes has been an active member of NIRSA since 2022. Holmes also holds American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED and First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certifications. He is also Mental Health First Aid for Higher Education Certified since 2025.
